Visitcolby.com NASCAR Sprint Cup Online Challenge Rules
1. To enter the NASCAR Sprint Cup Challenge, you must pick one car from each of the 9 groups on the Entry Form. You must be 18 years old to play. Once you have submitted an online Entry Form, you have the option of making two car changes each week.
2. All points are based on the official NASCAR points each week until the Chase for the Sprint Cup begins. Because we allow team changes throughout the season, we will keep the same point system for the last 10 races as we used for the first 26 races. If teams are deducted penalty points throughout the season, they will also be deducted from our NASCAR Sprint Cup Challenge.
3. Points are based on car numbers, not drivers. The Challenge player whose team/picks score the most points on a given week will win one of our weekly prizes and be eligible for the Grand Prize.
4. Once you have submitted an online Entry form, you are allowed to make two changes* to your team/picks until midnight the night before the race or noon the day of an evening race. If no changes are made by the deadline, then your teams/picks from the week before will be used.*This is two changes to your team as a whole, not submit changes two different times. You are only allowed to change two car numbers each week.
5. If you wish to change two cars on your team or change the answer to the tie breaker, fill out the weekly form. Remember, you are allowed to change only TWO groups each week (not one car in each group). You do not have to make two changes... you can make one or none! You can change the tie breaker answer each week. Please remember that you can only submit one weekly change (one weekly form) per week, so if you choose to change one car number and then submit your change, you cannot submit a second form with your second car number change.
6. Weekly results will be posted after the official race results are posted on NASCAR.com.
7. There is a tie breaker question on the Entry form. In the event of a weekly tie, the Challenge player who has the closest answer will be awarded the weekly prize. You have the option of changing your answer on the tie breaker question each week. If no change is made by the weekly deadline, then your answer from the week before will be used.
8. Weekly Challenge winners will be notified by email and then mailed the weekly prize. It is vitally important to contact us if your email address or mailing address changes during the season.
9. Our weekly prize is 2 Colby Theater tickets. The winner of Week #1 (at Daytona) will also win 2 season passes to the 2008 Thomas County Speedway regular season races, provided by the Thomas County Speedway. The Thomas County Speedway is also giving away 6 pairs of single passes throughout the season to the weekly winners on each of the following race dates: 3/22, 4/26, 5/24, 6/21, 7/26, & 8/16.
10. We have an additional sponsor and new way to win this season. We are breaking the season into 4 quarters, each being 9 weeks long. The Challenge player who has accumulated the most points for each individual quarter will win an authentic 1:24 diecast collectible car made by Motorsports Authentics from Colby Automotive. We will keep our regular "season" points going, but we will have an additional category (and link) for the quarterly points. At the end of each quarter, the points will be wiped clean and everyone will have the same chance at winning the next quarter.
11. Our GRAND PRIZE will be awarded to the Challenge player who has accumulated the most points throughout the entire NASCAR season. The Grand Prize is a $50 Taco Johns gift card.
12. Prizes are "as is." They can not be redeemed for cash value.
