Colby Kart Club uses KART engine specs. on all Briggs classes. Safety items are defined in the KART rulebook. If you have any questions... ASK!

CKC will run 6 primary classes for the 2008 race season. Classes will have 3-kart minimum to race. Additional classes may be allowed at the discretion of CKC. Additional classes will be pre-approved prior to race day.

ROOKIE:
Age: 6-8 years old
Engine: 5 hp Briggs & Stratton
Kart: Stock rules on blue printing, must run black restrictor
Fuel: Methanol
Weight: 235 lb. Min. (Kart & Driver)
Rib protectors strongly recommended.

JUNIOR 1 :
Age: 8-11 years old
Engine: 5 hp Briggs & Stratton
Kart: Stock rules on blueprinting, must run blue restrictor (0.425”)
Fuel: Methanol
Weight: 260 lb. Min. (Kart & Driver)
Rib protectors strongly recommended.

JUNIOR 2:
Age: 12-15 years old
Engine: 5hp Briggs & Stratton
Kart: Stock rules on blueprinting, must run red restrictor (0.500”)
Fuel: Methanol
Weight: 285 lbs. Min. (Kart & Driver)

LIGHT STOCK:
Age: 16 years old and up
Engine: 5hp Briggs & Stratton
Kart: Stock rules on blueprinting
Fuel: Methanol
Weight: 345 lb. Min. (Kart & Driver)

HEAVY STOCK:
Age: 16 years old and up
Engine: 5hp Briggs & Stratton
Kart: Stock rules on blueprinting

Weight: 370 lb. Min. (Kart & Driver)

OPEN CLASS:
Age: 16 years old and up
Engine:  Any single cylinder engine
Fuel: Alcohol or gas-NO NITRO OR OTHER ADDITIVES ALLOWED
