Colby Kart Club uses KART engine specs. on all Briggs classes. Safety items are defined in the KART rulebook. If you have any questions... ASK!

CKC is NOT affiliated with "KART" in any way.

CKC will run 6 primary classes for the 2008 race season. Classes will have 3-kart minimum to race. Additional classes may be allowed at the discretion of CKC. Additional classes will be pre-approved prior to race day.

ROOKIE:
Age: 6-8 years old
Engine: 5 hp Briggs & Stratton
Kart: Stock rules on blue printing, must run black restrictor
Fuel: Methanol
Weight: 235 lb. Min. (Kart & Driver)
Rib protectors with SFI 20.1 certification will be mandatory for all Rookie drivers.

JUNIOR 1 :
Age: 8-11 years old
Engine: 5 hp Briggs & Stratton
Kart: Stock rules on blueprinting, must run blue restrictor (0.425”)
Fuel: Methanol
Weight: 270 lb. Min. (Kart & Driver)
Rib protectors with SFI 20.1 certification will be mandatory for all JR 1 drivers.

JUNIOR 2:
Age: 12-15 years old
Engine: 5hp Briggs & Stratton
Kart: Stock rules on blueprinting, must run red restrictor (0.500”)
Fuel: Methanol
Weight: 300 lbs. Min. (Kart & Driver)

ADULT STOCK:
Age: 16 years old and up
Engine: 5hp Briggs & Stratton
Kart: Stock rules on blueprinting
Fuel: Methanol
Weight: 360 lb. Min. (Kart & Driver)

ADULT CLONE:
Age: 16 years old and up
Engine: 6.5 HP Harbor Freight Motor (ITEM 96549-1VGA)
